It is with great excitement and anticipation that we invite you to participate in the first, Water Woman gathering, an all-inclusive global event on the Sunshine Coast this summer, inspired by the popular annual ‘Burning Man’ festival.
Much like Burning Man, our collective intention is to create a magical journey towards consciousness, wholeness and sustainability on the planet.

“Our mission is to inspire, empower and entertain by co-creating a sustainable community gathering, celebrating Water as Life, Unity Consciousness and the Divine Feminine. Water Woman integrates healing, learning and growth through the Arts, Spirit and Nature."

Water Woman gathering will be held at beautiful Crystal Creek on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Friday, Aug. 1st to Monday, Aug. 4th, 2008, a BC long weekend. This four day event will inspire and activate 250-500 attendees, with rates varying from daily passes at $35 to all-inclusive weekend passes, valued at $133. including camping on this pristine paradise. Most activities will be scheduled in advance comprising daily yoga and meditation, ceremonies, rituals, workshops, sweat lodges, djs, musicians, dancing, a marketplace, performance and visual arts.

Northwest Tribal Nexus

Greetings, Elfinstonians,
I hail from the Oracle community in Seattle and have not yet made the journey to connect personally with your community up there. (probably this summer) I am posting this with the intention of initiating cohesion amongst tribal family in the Northwest...and you know, it sort of feels like i just landed my ship on your lawn and i've come to invite you to a Galactic Council meeting or something...

Anyway, people in Seattle are speculating about what will happen after the "end" of the Oracle Gatherings series. (for those unfamiliar, please see www.oraclegatherings.com) I don't think anyone knows for sure. Perhaps it will become clear by the end of the last gathering this summer, perhaps not. But one thing is for sure, our community has come together in an unprecedented manner. Never before has the vibe in Seattle been so unified, so full of integrity and divine love. This got me thinking about the way the Oracle community is only one of many tribes, families, organizations and collectives in the Northwest, and how there is so much going on within each individual group...but yet we are not cohesively linked together as i feel we should be.

I envision the global family as a fractal with a hub, or nexus, that unifies all tribes. Because it is too immense a project to try and link the entire world of tribal culture together, i have begun with the Pacific Northwest by creating the Northwest Tribal Nexus. This network hub will begin with a presence here on Tribe.net, so i am inviting every one of you to join today. Please follow this link to learn more about the tribe and the future of the network.

The creation of this network is in the same vein as your Tribal Harmonix, and i trust that others elsewhere in the world have begun the same process of linking us all together for mutual support and promotion of global evolution. Update on the Blockade on Mt. Elphinstone

Thank you for bearing with our piecemeal press kit. We are way too busy just keeping up with the essentials, let alone proper communications.

If you could please forward the following info on, that would be appreciated.

- Each day, events escalate rapidly. There is now a concern that without an immediate resolution that there may be a dangerous situation occuring. Media presence would help keep things safe, as currently all events are happening under a veil.

- Over 300 people attended a rally at the SCRD office today to demand the board issue a stop work order. the chair (who seems to be in a conflict of interest) was not overly cooperative.

- There is another large protest scheduled at the SCRD office on Field Rd for 11:30 am Friday. This will follow an emergency meeting of Gibsons Town Council at 8:30 am. The only item on the agenda of this meeting is whether to Instruct the Gibsons SCRD Rep. to back a stop work order.

- Continuing on the ground citizen inspections of the steep slopes below the cut blocks (and above the creek) have found extremely unstable debris chutes, overflowing with loose rocks, silt, and broken logs from past logging. These debris piles and soil are a mudslide waiting to occur when heavy runoff conditions occur. Runoff is expected to increase dramatically if the cutting plan is completed. Mudslides into the creek would dramatically affect water quality, and may block the creek, creating a dangerous flash flood and creekbed damage for a great distance. It is thought that Forestry and Logging Company environmental monitors and consultants have not even been onsite for inspections, despite reports authorizing cutting.

- for the fourth straight day, teams entered the woods and disrupted falling for most of the day. The fallers have resumed cutting after contact with protesters on the cutblocks, continuing to operate even with people in the immediate area.

- Ministry of Forests, SCRD and Work Safe BC have all responded to the complaint of this and other dangerous action by the fallers (and others) by directing complaintants to call the RCMP.

- The RCMP have not been receptive to any requests for help from protesters, and in fact seem to be operating as agents of the company. I will attach an email detailing such an event.

- It has become a question of how the exceptionally heavy police presence is being funded in such a small town. It is wondered whether Western Forest Products is paying for RCMP overtime, thus putting the police in conflict with evenly upholding the law.

- RCMP K9 units have been seen in the area of peaceful protest in public spaces. All protesters have been peaceful in their actions while Logging company employees have been physically threatening with: chainsaws, heavy equipment, vehicles (crewcabs and logging trucks) even on public roadways.

- The lack of coverage for such an important and precedent setting story in this province leads the question of whether the CBC has enough funding to properly cover the news.

Cosmic in origin but physically located above the Gumboot cafe in central Roberts Creek. The Universal Movement In Co-Inspiration has been a community portal for five years. In this time many different forms of activity have taken place. Community events and the much loved weekly''Open Channel'' open mic event. Recently due to various flavours and transformational energy a shift has occurred. The space above the gumboot cafe here in roberts creek now changing. Still a community space, its is in a process of redefining itself. Now with much love , focus and clairity we are witnessing the birth of the future here in this space....''Elfinstones Gems & Minerals''....recognizing that our community has expanded to the need for a larger space, with different requirements to gather for meetings and music, a re-alignment is taking place. We are now a gemshop. Open 6 days a week from 11-5 we are opening space to communicate and distribute the many wonders of sacred earth. Still supporting the community but recognizing the need for more sustainable gathering places, as well as noticing the focus a project takes on when a more ''single pointed focus'' is achieved. Major thanks and blessings to all beings who have given love to the community through this project over the years. So much joy has been manifested through this. The UMIC will be now transformed into a 4d organization. A website with posting and a calendrical device to help facilitate a one-mindedness within the Universal Movement In Co-Inspiration.....so this tribe will , oven the next sometime, be phased out of UMIC and be transformed to the Elfinstones Gem & Mineral Tribe......any feedback or ideas are always welcome....Thanks....UMIC

umic - four little letters:

okay. now you've been hearing these four letters used in combination a whole lot over the past couple of years, and even more so lately.

you've probably been attending events where you heard mention of the four little letters, or perhaps seen an eye-catching poster with a lovely little logo, again, with those four little letters.

you've probably been wondering to yourself, "self, just what exactly are those four letters, and why are they suddenly appearing everywhere? just WHAT is everyone talking about?"

well, this campaign is about to come outta the shadows and hit y'all upside the heads.

i'd like to first of all introduce the four little letters to you:

now, umic is an acronym, which means that every letter stands for a word. often, acronym's use periods to seperate out each letter, but umic is usually spelled just like that -> umic.

it is pronounced, "you-emm-eye-see"

not to be pronounced, "you - mik".

see?

the 'u' stands for universal - first off, the idea that something is universal is hard to pin down and define. the umic itself is hard to 'pin down and define', but i'ma try my darndest here.

universal means that the WHOLE is covered, collectively, without limit, and without exception. universal means that altho certain beings may be organizationally "in charge", ALL are a part of it. this also means that what is about to be revealed is something not just locally located, but an active grid covering this globe, and beyond.

the 'm' stands for movement. a movement is a series of organized activities working toward an objective. in this case, we are working together for unification, community stability, education and preparation. (prep. for what? you may ask... check upcoming blogs to find out!)

the 'i' stands for in. now, 'in' is a useful little preposition. it is used as a function word to indicate inclusion, location, or position within limits, but can also be used to indicate means, medium, or instrumentality. for example, i could say "we are -in- the heart of robert's creek", or i could say, "this is a movement -in- creation, and co-inspiration". which brings us to the last letter:

the 'c' stands for co-inspiration. i could keep the hyphen in there, or i could take the cue from delvin and sijay, who began the practice of separating prefixes from their root words with colons to emphasize each. (ie: co:inspiration, which looks aesthetically more pleasing as well!)

inspiration is the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions. as humans, we all have times when our intellects and emotions are moved, and we are 'inspired' to create, and to act as our highest selves. sometimes, it's difficult to maintain this state when not supported adeptly.

the prefix 'co-' can be traced back to the latin prefix co-, a form of com-, meaning “with.” in english, the prefix 'co-' means “together, joint, jointly.”

so, the idea is that, collectively, we can achieve so much more, and that, collectively, we can inspire one another.

Yes, for there will be the breaking up, until the time where there are people in every land who will say that this or that shows the hand of divine interference - or that nature is taking a hand - or that this or that is the natural consequence of good judgments...."

GENERAL: "The earth will be broken up in many places. The early portion will see a change in the physical aspect of the west coast of America. There will be open waters appearing in the northern portions of Greenland. There will be new lands seen off the Carribbean Sea, and dry land will appear.... South American shall be shaken up from the uppermost portion to the end, and in the Antarctic off Tierra del Fuego, land, and a strait with rushing waters...."

According to Cayce, the shifting of the poles was to occur around the turn of the century, but the natural sequence of events leading up to the shift began with the signs in the South Pacific and the Mediterranean and the appearance of land near Bimini. The West Coast destruction will be early on this time clock of events, as will the inundation of parts of the Carolinas and Georgia.

(so maybe Edgar saw the pole shift of the Sun? He said around 2001 there would be a pole shift. Maybe he meant the sun....if so this is yet another "prediction" of this amazing sleeping prophet to come true...)

my story in a paragraph or less izzzzzzz i have been called to anchor a specific vibration here in nyc.......the very core center belly of the beast was in desperate need of illusion busters....so, somewhere along the way, i signed up----much to do with a starchild named holly, who i work with here. We are assisting in anchoring a being's higher self into their physical body through using higher dimensional frequencies. We have a private healing practice in manhattan and then brooklyn is where we roam free with the musicians, performers, m.c.'s, b-boyz n girlz, artists etc......

i keep sane through an asana practice, eating live foods and meditating ummmm lots. music frees me of any sense of saneness that i might try to cling to.

jefe, via sector 9, helped i to remember the crucial-ness of this universal movement......and since this foundation laying for the past few months after being uprooted from my cush cali existence to being beckoned back east has been all consuming---finally now, i feel ready to shift out of this tunnel vision and hear of the projects others are birthing.

longer term, i wish to encorporate my extensive knowledge of the healing arts into the regular arts and especially musik.....its already happening but some reflections from the tribe always seems to help.

Coastal Unity Council,Dec.4

This is another reminder of the Coastal Council being held this Saturday
at Coastal Organics (Kelly and Crea's) in Roberts Creek-located across
from Fragrant Flora and Genevieve's Choclates off the main highway headed
towards Sechelt. Beginning at 13:20pm and going until 4:20pm the
invitation is to check in a s a coastal network and share where we and our
projects are at with our goals, our dreams, and our needs as well that
could possibly be benefited by coastal unity. There is likely to be a
coastal elder named Joanie (Pan's Grandmother) joining us as well to share
some historic perspectives on our region and you are welcome to bring such
people as well if you know any of our elders on the coast. Should you be
unable to attend but would like to have your input made you may contact me
and let me know.

Some agenda items that will be occurring depending on turn out include:

New Organic Buyers Club in Gibsons

Also on the agenda of this council will be orientation followed by
registration for those interested in the upcoming sixth annual Intention
retreat being held off the coast at a new location off of Indian Arm
accessed from Deep Cove. The new location is called Camp Jubilee and is at
the base of Mt.Seymour. A smaller intimate gathering set at 120 people and
the NYE night will be letting over about 100 more pre-sold ticket holders.
It is very strongly encourgaged that registering individuals register
before the cut off date of Dec.19 to assist with camp fees being paid
then.All subsidy requests will also benefit from being submitted asap as
they are going to be administered later on a first come first serve
basis.

If you are planning a workshop for Intention please use the submission
template posted on Intention phorum on www.tribalharmonix.org on the
thread Workshop Programming and if you have performance ideas for NYE
please inform since the program for the night will be finalized on Sunday
the 5th at the cityside Intention planning session. The city planning
sessions have been electrically charged over the past several weeks with
many newcomers of great talent and diverse backgrounds.
